Mark Relf founded Liberty Films after more than 15 years working in the film, broadcast and entertainment industries. He wanted to build an environment of creativity and collaboration, producing dynamic films with passion and personality.

Mark spent 6 years working at the BBC as a sound engineer, camera operator and editor. He headed the editorial department for a leading creative agency in Vancouver and has written, directed and produced content for the likes of EA, Universal, Warner Bros and Disney. He’s worked in news, sport, film and video games. Having this diverse background gives him a unique perspective. It allows us to approach filmmaking with an extra flare of creativity and attention to detail.

Over the years we have experimented with many production techniques. We’ve worked with multiple cameras, drones and visual effects. In the end, we find ourselves drawn to those shots that came from a simple desire to capture an authentic moment.

We’re inspired by our amazing cities, people, music, fashion and art. Our aim is to fuse those influences with you and your brand’s personality to create a unique film, one that is packed with amazing moments and backed by an awesome soundtrack.
